Atlanta Parks, Atlanta Gardens and Atlanta Arboretums
(Atlanta, Georgia - GA, USA)
In 1996 when Atlanta was the host of the Olympic Games, the city underwent a massive facelift which saw not only the construction of new sites and buildings, but the extension, renovation and improvement of many of the city's parks, gardens and leisure areas. Consequently, Atlanta has no shortage of places to relax with a picnic, attend outdoor events and engage in sporting activities.
The Centennial Olympic Park is perhaps Atlanta's highlight and offers a combination of all of the above. Here are some of Atlanta's most popular parks and gardens.
